Glorifying God by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

Adult Ministry

All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

At Edgewood Presbyterian Church we believe God is the loving Creator of us all.

  • We believe God calls the Church to continue the teaching ministry of Jesus Christ, guiding and nurturing one another through all the seasons and transitions of life.
  • We believe God calls the Church to gather as the body of Christ at a variety of times and places to learn, pray, sing, praise, serve, and enjoy Christian fellowship.

We offer the following Adult Ministries in addition to Sunday Morning Worship

  • During the school year, the congregation gathers at 7:30 via ZOOM for a devotion and prayer. It offers a time of brief fellowship, study, and prayer. Contact Pastor Connie Happell at pastor@epclife.com for more information.
  • At various times small groups are meeting, via ZOOM, to read and study different books or courses by Christian authors.
  • The Men’s Bible Study and Prayer Group is off for the summer. They usually meet on the first and third Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. via ZOOM. Contact Pastor Connie Happell at pastor@epclife.com for more information.
  • Adult Sunday School Classes meet at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
  • Small-Group Bible Studies take place throughout the week at various times of the day covering a variety of topics.
  • Prayer Ministry: Prayer team members meet at the church each month to pray for the concerns of the church, the community, the nation, and the world. They, also, participate in an email prayer chain.
